[About Hermione] "When I was 9 or 10, I would get really upset when they tried to make me look geeky, but now I absolutely love it. I find it’s so much pressure to be beautiful. Hermione doesn’t care what she looks like. She’s a complete tomboy."

[About Hermione] "I have too many friends on the set, and I love Hermione too much. I couldn’t see anyone else playing her. It would have killed me. There’s so much of me in her."

[About Hermione's future] "Well, there's quite a big difference between what I'd like to have happen and what actually will happen. I'd like to think that Hermione and Ron will end up together. It's been like five films where they've gone at it. I hope that she uses her intelligence, her determination, grit and strength, everything that's great about her and does something really amazing with that. [I hope] she finds a job that really challenges her and pushes her."

[About Hermione] "I've been denying that I'm anything like her, but I've come to terms with the fact that we're really quite similar. As the film goes on, the comparison is a big compliment. She stands for girl power; she won't let anyone mess her around; she's got two guys for best friends, but still holds her own. I love that she's intelligent and proud of that fact; she's determined; she never gives up; she's loyal; she stands up for her friends. I think she's kickass."
