"Neville comes up to me with his toad, Trevor, and says,"Do you want to kiss Trevor goodnight?" Every time he did this I burst into laughter. I was supposed to give him an "I hate you" look, but I couldn't help myself. It took me about eight takes to get it."

"It was the first time that I've had to properly cry on screen. Actually, you know what, it's funny, I find it easier to cry but to laugh realistically... When they just say "laugh on cue", it's really hard not to make it sound kind of fake (...) But no, I did have to try to think about something that was really upsetting.

[About acting] "My grandma has evidence that from the age of three I wanted to act. I said 'Number one, I want to be a fairy; number two, a princess; and number three, an actress.' So, it did rate lowest, but my first two were kind of unrealistic."

[About animals on set] "I really love animals and enjoy working with them. It can be quite hard. It's very hard to tell a dog, "Do it again, you weren't sitting in the right position." You have to be quite patient because Fang drools everywhere. It takes ages to get off your robes, and Hedwig flies in the wrong direction. Most of the time they get it right, which is absolutely amazing! Their trainers must have the hardest job ever."

[About the most difficult scene(s) in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"] "Professor Sprout's class was pretty hard. There are so many scenes where I literally couldn't say my lines. Hermione gets such mouthfuls, it's like a tongue twister in each paragraph. She talks like a dictionary. She is a dictionary."

[About "Crookshank"] "I loved working with that cat, he's so cute. He looks like he has been smashed in the face with a pan. He's so ugly, bless! But I love him, he's lovely and fluffy."
